Kings Cafe

Came in to dine in; coffee with a friend. The delightful barista suggested a Spanish Latte with Oat Milk and she was absolutely right. Sweet and robust(much like the atmosphere in the cafe), it was exactly what was needed on a chilly afternoon.

I ordered the matcha and expresso mix with unsweetened soy milk and it was delicious. They have lots of neat options that set them apart from your standard coffee shop and their standard size is 16 oz I believe. When you dine in, their drinks are very aesthetically pleasing - it’s Instagram worthy. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come here, might even be worth the drive!

Fantastic lattes, some of the best I've ever tasted! I really recommend the hazelnut latte - the coffee beans are fresh and the milk is well-frothed. It was so good!

1. Tried their grilled cheese. Simple idea, sure. But the combination of cheeses, the quality of bread, and even the presentation of the sandwich were all done with quality and care! 2. I've had the London Fog twice here, and both times it carried the earl grey flavour and aroma substantially well (without tasting inauthentic)! 3. The owner was around one of the times I went there, and he was warmly attentive to all customers! 4. Chill atmosphere; lots of studying/work going on. Loud-ish music (r&b, hiphop when I've been there). If you like quiet, perhaps not a good place. There is outdoor seating (small tables/chairs), looking onto Kingsway (busy street). Serve beer and wine as well! Ooh, and spiked lattés ;-) 5. Local café! 6. Loses a star for me because of being slightly $$.
