Very frustrating and my experience, unfortunately, appears to align with the other one star ratings. Took my son in for allergy testing after he had a severe reaction to our supper one evening that required us to administer an Epi-Pen and call 9-11. I kept all of the ingredients and brought them with me to the appointment. I was told by the doctor that difficulty breathing and a closing throat are not consistent symptoms of a severe allergic reaction. I asked to have a few common food allergens from that supper tested - legumes, soy, etc. Instead he tested environmental allergens and a few nuts that we already had examined several years ago. The plan provided was scant, inadequate and did not address the concerns we went to the clinic with. There was no explanation provided as to why the environmental tests were run or why no food allergens were explored. Was told that the possibility it was an allergic reaction to food was highly unlikely. The doctor could not say conclusively that it was an allergic reaction based on the symptoms and therefore would not test other foods beyond the treenuts and peanuts we already know about because there were just too many possibilities of what it could be despite the fact that I brought in a pretty specific request. This is unacceptable. If the specialist refuses to test foods because he doesn't believe it's food, then fine. I will still disagree, but leave it at that and I'll go seek a second opinion from someone who will be more thorough. But don't waste my time by running a battery of tests of known allergens just to claim your service fee and my $40. ***EDIT*** I was able to get a referral to a different allergist at another clinic. My son was tested for the food allergens we had requested be tested and were denied by Dr. Doctor. As it turns out, my concerns were valid. A skin test followed by blood work confirm that my son is allergic to one of the items we'd asked to check. By dismissing our concerns and not testing my son for the food allergens in question, my son was put in harms way at this clinic. You have other options in this city by specialists who are more thorough, precise, and supportive. Do not go here.

The doctor I go to is great. However, the receptionists......... You have to constantly follow up with them. First they changed my appointment from in-clinic to a phone appt without confirming with my doctor. I told them it was supposed to be in the clinic and they said they'll speak to her and let me know. 3 days later, no response. I called them and was told that yes, its in the clinic. Then was told my appt time would be changed and they'll let me know - again a 4 day wait and no response. I called them AGAIN - then was told the time would remain the same. And I had been waiting for them to confirm the time so I could ask my boss for time off work. Why can't you just let people know once something is confirmed???

The pediatric clinic is amazing, the staff and physicians are all absolutely wonderful. Dr Chamberlain is probably the best doctor I have ever met. She is very down to earth, and you can see and feel how much she cares for her young patients. She celebrates success, and you can tell she is genuinely happy, and thrilled to see her patients thriving, because of her amazing care. I can't articulate how much she has helped our family, and how much the staff and healthcare workers in the office have also helped. They're very accommodating, and caring. Dr. Chamberlain will even call and check in on her young patient, talk with us parents as long as needed to understand a situation, and not only values us as advocates for our child, and listens to us, but values the child's input even more and listens so intently to what we are all saying. She is a lovely human being who cares very much for my child, and my child and I both feel this level of care and compassion. She has my respect and my sincere gratitude, for the help she has provided my child, who would not be the amazing, intelligent and most of all HAPPY individual I now see every day. Thank you for caring, and thank you for celebrating our achievements, and getting us through our challenges. Keep being awesome!

The receptionist is so rude and completely unhelpful.

Disappointing. I had went here for the 3rd time with a referral from my doctor after my son had an allergic reaction that lasted 5 days to what I am pretty sure was pomegranate. The doctor came in told me that its highly unlikely that was possible and didnt bother even testing it. Instead, he tested the same things he has been testing for the past 3 years. Even though he was so sure last time that my boy isn't allergic to walnut he showed up as allergic this time (which I already knew because he had an allergic reaction to it 2 years ago). So naturally I asked about accuracy and again was made to feel like I have no idea what I'm talking about and I must have mixed up the date of his walnut reaction. So my questions are still unanswered and I waited 6 months for nothing. Oh plus it costed 40$. 2 thumbs down.
