Lies, lies and more lies. Given assurance that they’ll find me a truck or a van. Ended up with a reservation in Red Earth Creek, called to confirm and was told they didn’t have anything available. Call the central booking and talked to a really nice woman who actually told me the truth! There are no trucks available. I wasted 2 days believing all this stuff from uhaul that was never going to happen. Worst experience I’ve ever had

I booked in advance and made sure that the location had the equipment that I required. Shortly before I needed to pick up the truck, I was informed that it was not available even though I specifically picked a truck that would be available. As a result, I had to go 260 km out of my way to get a truck. The extra fuel, cost of renting the equipment, wear and tear on my personal vehicle along with the extra time way very inconvenient and costly. I ended up spending nearly $200 more than I was quoted. I called given the number provided, but the number I was given by the pick up location did not work. I ended up having to call another number. The agent I spoke too couldn’t do anything about it. She said she would have her manager call me; I was waiting for his call before I made this review as I was hoping they would rectify this situation. It appears that my only remedy is a review. I would not recommend using u-haul for your needs as you will end up being inconvenienced and pay a large amount more than you were anticipating.

One star since I don’t know how to give zero stars. Called on Friday to confirm rental of a motorcycle trailer and was confirmed that it would be there the next day for pickup in the morning. I drove over 900km to pick it up. However it wasn’t there and the owner / manager didn’t even return my phone calls. I have to say this is my worst rental experience ever!!!

Northend Ready Mart Uhaul saved my trip! Riding to the USA from Northern Alberta, my truck dies on a thanksgiving long-weekend. Northern Reddi Mart Uhaul not only stayed open late so I could pick up one of their vehicles, but they lent me straps to tie down my motorcycle, offered very reasonable rates, and went over and above to accommodate my drop-off location needs. These folks know customer service, and genuinely care. If you want an excellent rental experience, consider driving from from far and wide just to do business with Northend Reddi Mart Uhaul.
