Ban Chok Dee Thai Cuisine

Decided to try takeout here the other day, but they seem to have reopened to dining-in recently as well. Service was fine, at least on the phone and what little interaction we had when collecting, but obviously can't say whether that extends to the serving staff. Prices are maybe a little higher than elsewhere, but the portions are quite big, at least the takeout ones. Ended up having leftovers for lunch the next day. Tom Kha and pineapple rice were great and would definitely recommend those, though we did not quite enjoy the Pad Thai as the taste was different to what we expected. We got lucky as they still had mango sticky rice available, though my partners and my opinion differ on the execution. It definitely isn't the same as we've previously had elsewhere. I would describe the taste of it maybe being a bit sweet and sour. I personally liked it, just could have been a bit more sweet or the mango sweeter (which seems to be difficult to find even when you look for them yourself) and have some roasted sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Overall we were happy with our choice and will be coming back again.

The food here is absolutely delicious! So fresh and flavourful, portions are perfect. We have been incredibly happy every time. Only ate in once but the service was fantastic as well. 100% recommend. Thank you Ban Chok Dee!

I am addicted to this place but lately they have been making the food much spicier than usual. I have ordered cashew chicken medium spicy probably 100 times for take out, always very good. In November I ordered the same and could barely eat it because it was extremely hot. Haven't been back there since.

Ordered from this restaurant throughout skip the dishes by mistake. Thought it was a different place. All I can say is wow the food was so good. My regular Thai place just lost my business they were so good and the portion was so big we had left overall. Have been back for take out in person. Very impressed.

My husband accidentally left his leftovers on the table when he left the other night. He went back the yesterday hoping they may have put it aside. He explained to the waitress what happened and she said no they have to throw out anything left behind. He understood completely and went to leave when the lovely waitress stopped him and offered to remake his whole meal for him to take home. Such awesome customer service way above and beyond what he expected. His meal was fabulous and we love going back to this place time and time again. Thank you so much for making his day!!!!
