Noise-noise-noise! Noise from people who don't know how to camp but excel at "I me my." Staff go home at 10 pm leaving the whole campground unsupervised. Noise continues all night. Selfish-- having no concept of community or public--they think they own the place; Destroy nature; Chase wildlife; Avoid paths, roadways, and trails; Let children run amok, ensuring the next generation will be equally or more selfish. The good campers suffer, helpless, as they are unable to retaliate with noise to avoid inflicting collateral damage on other good campers. People without respect for nature, including quiet, do not belong in it. One motorhome had to run its loud fan for days continuously. No others did. You obviously have to think your "special" to do that. You are special alright and deserve a "special" place, one that is not in a campground. Okay, now there was some peace and quiet after the staff intervened a few times, which I hope continues to happen as often and effectively as needed. The campground has plenty of room for quiet campers and is away from most ambient road and town noise. I plan to go back and hope to enjoy some quiet, and nature, as it should be--respectfully. Want to party late at other's expense? Beware that this is not the place - heavy fines are levied and you can be waken up early to receive yours.

Website says not to burn firewood that isn't sourced locally - we bought wood in town only to find out that once you buy a fire permit there is unlimited free wood at the campsite! It's a nice perk that wasn't very clear on the website. Campsite is large with lots of little trails and great trees for hammocks. Close to town, so if you forget something it's easy to go get more supplies.

A blast from the past! Large areas of this vintage campground appear to be unchanged since the 70’s... perhaps longer. Most Sites are not on gravel pads, are uneven, closely spaced, and bizarrely laid out. Streetlights are a nice touch for those wishing they were still in Calgary. Staff were friendly, and ancient bathrooms were frequently cleaned. For booking, “C”&”D” loops are old and worth avoiding. “B” is walk in and tent only and nice. Hookup sites are modern and more private.

Beautiful scenery. For the most part quiet ( depends who is beside you) Clean showers and bathrooms. Friendly staff. I have been camping here for 20 years, I would recommend. Little town of Radium is less than 10 min drive, Food, gas, liquor and restaurants. Safe. Big Horn Sheep frequent the road driving up to campground

Nice campground with great views from walk in sites. Staff are nice and friendly. Washrooms are clean. The only problem we had was lack of wood. Please make sure to check the wood yard before buying the wood permit and hoarding isn't necessary. Share with other campers.
