Riverside Resort Qualicum Beach

My partner and I had a really good experience here. The staff is really laid back and friendly, especially the young man who often worked the cash resister! They were accommodating of our dogs and even gave our car a boost when the battery died on our way out. I’m not sure about the bad reviews here, but from my understanding it is under new management. Paul, the owner, was very friendly. The resort is also in a beautiful area with a 5 minute walk to a quiet beachfront across the street. The unit itself was clean and well kept, we even put mats on the floor so our dogs wouldn’t scratch it at all. We would definitely recommend this resort to anybody looking for a long term rental or just passing through!

An excellent experience at the cabins, wonderful unit's, fireplace, pool was a little cold but there are water slides and mini golf included. Basic cable with flat screens, no Smart TV, but there is WiFi, Keurig, Stove, Fridge, Microwave, full bathroom, and all the accessories, such as dishes, cookware. Service is friendly convenience store and laundry on site. Good pricing as well. Overall would recommend.

“ A great place to stay; we had a great time at Riverside resort camp ground and wish it could have been longer. We have enjoyed our getaway with fun activities since it is right by the ocean, river, and swimming pool which is awesome. The location can’t be beat, and it’s close to downtown Qualicum Beach and very close to beautiful golf courses. It is the place to go for a family vacation with reasonable prices and friendly staff, nice and peaceful yard for resting with family, and a nice breeze at anytime from the river and ocean. The front desk fellow was very nice and helpful in a generous manner and gave us lots of information about the area and fun activities. I was very impressed with all staff’s smile and kindness wherever I go (front desk, swimming pool, store…). ”

My girlfriend still hasn't received her last cheque(she left over 2 months ago). The only reason she left is because she didn't feel safe around managment, as there were multiple cases of these unprofessional people snapping on customers and staff. We are talking about management breaking staffs personal property in front of their faces to prove how mad they were. This was how they treated staff. There was even a death on site that pretty much got swept under the rug. The staff who were on site for the death were asked to work the rest of the day and the next day finishing their schedule. No condolences or days off offered for the staff who went through that. They were pretty asked to ignore it. If they don't value another person's life, they don't value your stay. Do not stay there.

I had an amazing time, wasn't entirely sure what to expect but it most certainly met those expectations. the location is beautiful and very peaceful and the staff is always very eager to help. The pool is a special place and unique in the area compared to other resorts. Pool attendant was always quick to help and the front desk were very amicable
