Frontiersman Liquor Store, Coombs

I have only shopped in here a couple of times and the 1st thing I noticed was that the prices are higher than most other private liquor stores. I can only assume this is because the owner is aware that there are only 3 of these stores in the Coombs/Errington area and patrons are a bit of a 'captive audience' and will likely pay the slightly inflated prices instead of driving into Parksville or Qualicum for better prices. The selection is limited as it's a fairly small store but the staff have all been great so far and they do offer a points program which is 4% back. You can claim it on anything they sell not just booze. Smokes, mix/chase, snacks...
