Advanced Storage Centres

Recently I had a special request to make and found Danielle to be very helpful and understanding. We have been using this facility for a number of years and have always found Danielle and the rest of the staff courteous. The complex is well maintained and provides very good storage service.

Had the pleasure of walking in after checking out a different storage place nearby where nobody was even present (eventhough it said it was open). Arrived, was asked nicely to wait outside while they finished up with a customer. I inquired as to availability and was given some options. Kate promptly took me around to a few units until we found one that was not too big, not too small... but just right. Throughout the lease and paperwork, both Kate and Liz answered all of my questions and helped make sure that I had all the information I needed. Thanks ladies.

Complaint Details On May 25th, 2020 I entered into a contract agreement with Advanced Storage in Maple Ridge to rent an RV lot. I was assigned unit #RV 83. The terms of the agreement were month to month. During a telephone call and later followed up by email - both received on August 11th, 2020 notice to vacate was received stating that they would begin construction and that we would need to vacate on or before August 31st at 5pm. Yesterday, while driving past the storage facility, like always I looked over to see my trailer *habit* (we could see our trailer in its spot while was visible from the roadway) but it was gone... GONE! I called my husband who was following behind me in his truck and I told him that the trailer was gone and he immediately entered the lot and seen that the lot had been dug up and our trailer had been moved. Moved without our knowledge nor our consent. I called Advanced storage at 4:42pm and explained to the customer service agent what we had discovered and she comment "yes, our manager Mars called a tow truck and had your trailer moved, yours wasn't the only one" I demanded to speak with Mars and was told she was not available but that she would pass along the message to have her call me. I received no phone call I called the Ridge Meadows RCMP to file a report - they advised me that the issue is of a civil matter but that they would log the complaint. At 5:26pm I sent an email to Advanced Store requesting to have the owner of the facility contact me immediately and reviewed all the same details as outlined in this report. Moving our RV without consent poses a major problem for me - firstly, our trailer which was stored in its paid for lot was parked there prepped for storage. The fridge and freezer doors were left open to allow for circulation, the glass shower door was left open and not securely locked which is what is required prior to transport. I had large jugs of water in the hallway not secure, personal property in the trailer unsecure. These items were left unsecure because the trailer was being "stored". Secondly, that RV is registered and insured by me - Advanced Storage tampered with my property, they breached contract when they moved my trailer without consent from its leased RV lot # 83, Thirdly - Advanced Storage caused me and my family unnecessary distress, and fear (I thought our property had been stolen from what I was sold to believe was a secure lot). I formally request the following: -Video showing the hook up, transport and parking of my RV into the lot in which it is currently in now -The name of the tow company hired to move the RV and who from Advanced authorized it -I want the contact information of the person(s) who own Advanced Storage Centres - Maple Meadows location
