Mayfair Self Storage

I have had my locker for almost a year, and the staff are wonderful to deal with. They are very friendly and accommodating. When I was ready to downsize my locker, they helped me to decide the size I would need, and they did so honestly, without trying to upsell me to bigger than would be needed. Their security system seems up to date, which is a nice change from the locker company I used 20 years ago. I cannot say enough nice things.

One of the rudest unfriendly "customer service" people I have ever run across. I would love to speak to Mayfair Head Office and explain. I tore up my rental agreement., and left. Incredible!!!! I wish I could leave no stars.

We asked if we could do 1 month rental on a unit mid month to mid month. They said ya, no problem. When we were ready to vacate they changed their tune. 10 days notice and a units only rent 1st to last day of month. We had a smaller unit for 7 years. These people are total scammers. So disappointed that we are vacating our other unit too.

-Access restricted on a locker. -Needed to remove all items to avoid the expensive the monthly payment. -Offered to pay 90% of whats owing for access to clear the locker but was denied access unless paying 100% -Unwilling to wave any bit of late fees or make any compromises. Other storage companies wave late fees depending on circumstances, so I've been told by reliable sources. And by these same sources I've been told that you can often make arrangements for access aside from paying whats owing in full. These people will not budge, compromise, or be what I would consider reasonable. Don't take my word for it but I highly recommend doing your research into this by inquiring about these specific policies with other companies. In summary: generally I wouldn't recommend this company based on these policies, but to boot the poor customer service does not help as well.

Love the hours and having everything secured 24 hours a day... The staff is great... Handled a touchy situation really well.
