I'll never forget the treatment I incurred in an MVA in 2013- it was settled & the caucasians who drove away from the scene received thousands of dollars whch Im now paying with a lien against my home in Wa state. I was insulted by a constable who wasnt disciplined& is probably a corporal now. When I was most relieved to see an officer at the accident scene-my son in law in the pavement- the constable insulted me as a native woman. Im an RN of 27yrs in good standing in 2 provinces/4 states.My son is a red seal ironworker & daughter a nursing aide in Montreal. Weve morgtages & yes, pay taxes. Ive taught my children that they DONT NEED to respect an RCMP member. That incident & how wetsuweten land defenders were treated is deplorable. It can never be repaired& I will never respect an rcmp member EVER again- I will never forget the feeling of hope during an accident & sense of relief by seeing an rcmp constable who insulted my looks ( Im a fit beautiful woman BTW) It was held against me that I was hollering-- um people who are in shock have different responses. I will NEVER forget that encounter EVER & shared my story about fraser lake RCMP in a documentary
