Beautiful tent camping on lot 148. On the river with a beautiful view. Beach is a good size with nice sand. River is not very deep so it's great for lounging in. Party island wasn't even that noisy. I couldn't believe how close together the trailers were though, everything was very tight. If we could get this site again we would probably go back, but only tent camping.

Too poor quality of services. The website is not organised and the stuff is so rude and not friendly at all. every service is for extra money

This going to be a little rambling. First impressions are important; we couldn't even find the place and there's no road side signage. Then on check in they charged us for 4 adults instead of the three people over 14 that we had (bill changed reluctantly). Nor were we offered a fob to get the car passed the gate which meant we had to ask the front desk attendant everytime we wanted to enter or leave to begrudgingly allow us to pass. To be entirely honest, it was more of a RV park with the odd spot for short-term stays. While it seems like a good place to foster culture around retirees, the rude stares we got for being in a tent were abundant. The noise was excessive. A policy of "no curfew just don't disturb your neighbours" just simply doesn't work when your neighbours are drunk and partying until 3am. And it was dirty: cigarette butts and blood glucose test strips littering the ground. The washrooms were to be avoided. The showers on the men's side were moldy and bugs lived in the cracks in the paint. On the women's side, the toilets were not secure and wobbled. There is a posted speed limit of 5km/hr. While slow this is justifiable as there are many kids running around. What is not justified was berating us for driving too fast in the grounds every time we tried to enter or leave despite the fact that we had someone walk a metre in front of the car to make sure the way was clear. The front desk people were incredibly hostile over this assumed infraction. The many golf carts did not obey this speed limit yet we were the only ones get chastised. Related to this, one night there was a 13ft (ish) bonfire beside the wooden covered games area. The intense heat was felt through car. Not only were there children under 10 running around near it, it was right on the only exit from the camp and should anything have gone wrong there would have been no exit route. We ended up leaving a night early as we were unable to deal with the people and the culture of the campground. Quite frankly, everyone was rather hostile and we did not feel welcome. Theft of children's bikes from the site next to us happened the day we left. I will never be returning and advising people who are in the area to avoid it at almost any cost. Additional side note: the website should undergo legal review for false advertising.

tl;dr Disgusting redneck trailer park This is a long hellish tail so buckle up... - No signage visible form the road, drove past it twice trying to find the place. - The "campsites" are really just a dirt patch in the middle of a roundabout circles by trailers. - The permanent residents there are incredibly rude, giving any visitors dirty looks. Very loud during the evening, no curfew it seems, but lots of yelling and alcohol. - Horrible management, they kept yelling at our friends because they thought that we hadn't paid but we did, so they double charged us and didn't let us know. We had to stop back there on our way back home to sort it out. - There were thefts of several bicycles while we were there as well, apparently it had happened before and the management didn't do anything about it. - One evening we drove in and there was a huge bonfire about 5 meters from the access road and about the same distance from a wooden common area shack type thing. Could feel the heat through the windows as we drove by, seemed incredibly dangerous. - Children running all over the road with no parents in sight. We went the limit of 5km/h through the site and kids either ran very close to the cards out of nowhere or would stand in the middle of the road and not move. Then, the "parents" had the audacity to open the door of our car and yell at us for going to fast and endangering the kids. Like maybe you shouldn't let them play in the street, hmmm? Anyway really horrible experience, I really really hope I never have to set foot there ever again and I hope nobody else will have to deal with that $#!% either.

A bit expensive for certain things like their WiFi (when I visited they charge 15$/mth for renters, and a lot more for visitors - hourly rate). It's not camping, it's an RV park, with *some* ”camping” spots. There are places where it's not so full of the ”partying types” - unless that's your thing, have fun - and those parts are nicer. It's not where I'd personally go camping, I'm a deep woods kinda guy.
