I would rate it zero stars if I could. The price does not justify what you get when you camp here. The majority of units are rundown and their lots overgrown. The only nice amenity present to speak of is the marina (that’s it!). Something really has to be said about their on sight “security”. Not only does he not enforce their nighttime noise restrictions but encourages it. He also has the gall to stop people about their speed (I was consciously going less than 10 km/h. My visitor was also harassed). Using only the dust blowing up behind the vehicle as reasoning. Maybe if they invested in a radar speed gun (or perhaps investing in pavement) they would have less “reason” to annoy their customers. Never again.

Called and asked if they have camping spots left. They say yes and with electrical. We arrive there and we are told “it’s emergency spots only, there are no trees or anything” 🤨 We can camp in a Walmart parking lot for free. Why would we pay you for this? This is a Ghetto campground with out any feel of a forest or nature setting. Stick to the park system, it’s more natural and beautiful then this large parking lot.

Camping on the weekend of Thanks Giving Oct 12-14 reservations was fairly easy, can be done on line or by phone. Mind you, we went at the end of the season. Fairly large camp site, enough room between neighbors but could use a bit more space. There's a fair amount of trees but no privacy bushes. Lots of seasonal people and only a small amount of vacancy for transient travelers. Best to reserve months in advance. There's a VIP section which is reserved to those in that section and all are seasonal. Several parks and bathrooms to choose from for the kids and morning routine. There are people complaining about the camp rules are to strict, but I feel rules makes a safe camp site.. so the more the better. There's a lot of people that have no respect for others. Cons: Bag of firewood is 13.50, I find it very expensive for the quantity. There is a very steep hill from the front office to the start of the camp sites, difficult to maintain a safe speed. Pron to spring flooding. Pros: beautiful clean bathrooms, but 1$/4min showers. They have the most modern bathrooms ever seen in all my travels. Very well stocked office from food to rv equipment. HUGE boat dock with a huge water platform to relax and enjoy the sun and water, they even have pic nic tables and zero gravity chairs to use. There's also a onsite restaurant, but was closed for the season. The main garbage and recycle is near the front office which is away from the main camp. 2 parks for the kids to play at and as well a Pool (closed for the season). This is a very interesting camp site to go to, and will definitely make a rsvp for next year during the hot months to at least use 100% of the facility. Its also only 45min drive from MTL. I would recommend a few stays before believing the negative posts.

Beautiful family camp site. Clean washrooms and a nice pool with a slide. Our kids enjoyed this spot. There is even a marina for campers!

Nice camping. Easy access to the river with a large dock. Good ambiance at Saturday night music shows. Dogs policy a bit silly.
