$ 8.50 per person for a point of view, a chapel of little interest and a shop to give even more money 🤔 it's overkill. $ 4 would be more appropriate! Honestly, not a must-see in Gaspésie. Another subject, the trails labeled "easy" could have been intermediate as they can be dangerous in some places.

Do not miss to admire the breathtaking view of the Baie des Chaleurs at 555 m high. The on-site church is fine, but successive renovations have altered the splendor of the original central part. The access road is very steep. Put the transmission on low drive to descend to avoid overheating the brakes.

Wonderful hike! Breathtaking landscapes! Departure from the Eperlan Nord course then the Taguine course to the top of Mont St-Joseph was a challenge that we are proud to have taken up!

Very beautiful view. Small tips for those who do not want to pay for access to the summit: come out of season, it's free and there is no one there.

What a wonderful place! You can't go through Carleton-sur-mer without at least stopping at Mont-Saint-Joseph! The view is breathtaking, from the top of 550 meters and with the city and the sea in the distance. We went there at a time when there was no verification for the payment of the entrance fee, but we still paid this one, as we believe in encouraging the maintenance of a such site. While it is possible to drive up to the top, we enjoyed stopping along the way and doing a short hike of just under 2 km. to complete the climb. At the top, the view is panoramic, and there is a lot of effort that has been put in to accommodate visitors. Don't forget to have your brakes in good working order if you go by car, because it really goes down a lot on the way back! We will definitely return!
