Was at Mamquam River Campground with a friend a few days ago. Right away as we pulled up into the campground, Patrick (campground manager) welcomed us in and was very accommodating. It was our first time here and Patrick and his staff tended to all of our needs with no hesitation. He also recommended a lot of fun things to do in Squamish to see. In addition, the campground is a ~10 second walk to the river and had really beautiful trails all around to discover. We really enjoyed ourselves and definitely recommend anyone who’s looking for an easygoing camping trip. Definitely will be coming back!

We had an amazing experience here! We've decided this will be our go to spot from now on. Patrick and the staff were nothing but welcoming and friendly to us, and they went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. You can tell they love what they do and believe in providing a positive space for people to be in nature. The location is beautiful with the river a short walk away. The amenities are basic, but far more than we were expecting for a Campground with this price point. Kudos for the multiple secure bear bins and slack line course. We stayed in a walk-in site with a fire pit and picnic table, and we noticed that these sites offer more privacy than the drive in sites. Don't let the idea of walking deter you, they're only maybe 50-100m from the parking area.

This summer was our child’s first year camping. We felt MRC was the perfect place to go because it is so close to home. MRC is centrally located, clean, has lots of dry firewood, and a path directly to the river. The staff, especially Patrick, is welcoming and helpful. Patrick has made every trip memorable with his kindness and knowledge of the area. We stayed here five times in 2020. The first four we stayed in the walk-in sites and this last time we stayed in the Mongolian Ger/Yurt. We enjoyed the Ger so much we have booked it again for a mid-winter camping trip. We’re looking forward visiting again next year!

Really good location! The Manager is friendly and attentive. Close to town but it feels remote. Limited services make it quiet and give it a natural feel. Great access to the river too.

Really really really nice gentleman that runs the site. He's been there for quite some time if I recall. He's good fun!
