Being a fighter I was looking for a family doctor knowledgeable in combative sports. Dr. Karpman was recommended to me by numerous peers in the fight community. I found him to be friendly and informative.

My worst experience with any doctor has been with Dr. Karpman. He was not receptive to work with me through my injury, and stated his medical opinions with a lack of tact and bedside manner. I was looking for recommendation for surgery, was denied. I did physio for two months, still had major issues, and upon another request for recommendation of surgery, was denied due to the reason that I am “young and healthy” and that I could “just live with it, like how older people do”. The next two doctors I saw for my issue immediately approved me of surgery. I did receive my surgery, and feeling great, with no thanks to Dr. Karpman. Would not recommend wasting with with Dr. Karpman, and would imagine you are better off finding a doctor who is willing to give you the time of day.
