Border City Clinic

We have Dr. Al as our family doctor. Our kids love him. They get excited when they have the chance to come in to see him all the time. We are very lucky that way - what kid would get excited over seeing a doctor!!! Dr. Al is smart, caring, knowledgeable. He takes time to address your concern. The staff in the clinic are very friendly, especially Nicole. She is always so kind to our kids. We love the team and we are thankful for them!

i’ve went here so many times for problems with my health and have left with something completely random or no answers. i went to update my file saying my family has history of colon cancer and that i have some problems down there, she ended up telling me i have a hemmroid (which i did not) and didn’t even check me out. I also went there after a car accident to make sure i didn’t get whip lash or anything and she tried to prescribe me antibiotics even though i wasn’t sick at all. she didn’t even look at me or anything. which this has happened many times, where she tried to give me antibiotics when i knew i didn’t need them but i would take them and still be similar and would just get prescribed more, even though they obviously weren’t working. i made an appointment for a wart on my foot and birth control and they literally said something like “nice, here’s your prescription for birth control” and even if you make an appointment you are usually waiting for an extra hour, which is fine but when it all adds up like this it’s not worth it. i have lots of physical problems which they told me it was all in my head, it very much could have been but it’s been happening since i was a child. even if it was in my head they didn’t do anything to help prevent it or try to rule things out. i ended up having a severe bowel infection. i ended up going to the hospital and that’s when i found that out. i hate leaving bad reviews but almost everytime i went there i left upset.

Opens at 830 yet here it is 5 to 9 and there 7 vehicles waiting outside and doors still locked..

My walk in experiences has been great! Friendly and helpful staff, reasonable waiting times, caring doctors. It’s a good alternative from baby’s dr specially when she gets ill and we need to take her in right there and then, w no time for booking appointments. Thank you Boarder city for all the help it’s much appreciated!
