Sept 2020 This is a nice camping spot, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. I give it 4 stars only because the roadway is close enough that you get noise from trucks and loud bikes up and down the hill, but that settles down depending on what time it is. The road isn't on top of you, it's just that it's so quiet there, you hear that occasionally Aside from that, the accommodations are good. The sunrise and moonrise is spectacular, and the lake is truly inviting. The ducks will soon be at your camp looking for handouts and posing for pictures. Showers were hot and costs reasonable at $1.00 for 5 minutes. Wood is $8.00 and that was good for what you get. There is a laundry, but I didn't use it. Garbage is neat, and well maintained. Recycling exists there! Good job. Kaslo is less than 5 minutes away, with all amenities.

Beautiful place. It was my first time there and the water was so warm. A georgeous place with clean bathrooms and mellow chill service by the owners.

We hadn't been here before so relied on their map to pick a site. The main area is extremely crowded for our taste and the site we reserved showed it as lakefront but there was thick brush making it out of sight and inaccessible. There was a large RV directly above our spot and their duct taped sewer hose, practically in our site, made for an unpleasant view. We chose to leave because it didn't meet our expectations. The "lake" truly is little more than a pond. They still charged us for 2 sites for 1 night even as they apologized for the miscommunication. We ended up at Kokanee Creek Provincial Park which was a vastly superior location with big, clean private sites, kayak rentals, free showers and flush toilets on the lake. Keep driving. It gets better.
