EXIT Nanaimo Escape

When I told them that it was our son's birthday, instead of saying "Happy Birthday" they asked if he had ID to prove it. How about responding "hey, Happy Birthday buddy!" instead of just telling us that there's no discount because we booked on the weekend, 3 days before the Tuesday? Santa's Workshop was good except that the equipment at the end didn't work so we had to get someone to fiddle with it to unlock the door.

I really enjoyed this place. It was my first time at an escape room. The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. The place was very clean, new, and well thought out. We played a fairly tough game for our first time so it was challenging, but the props were magnificent and very detailed and intricate. They are multiple rooms to a game that you get to by deciphering clues. Each room is amazing and nothing like the last. There are decoys so watch out. We played the mannequin party and it was creepy, fun, and challenging. We were lucky to make it out. I feel that having and hour and 15 minutes would be more beneficial because some of the locks were very finicky, but this is my only complaint.

Amazing staff. All of the people we dealt with made our experience even better. The rooms are GREAT. Some challenges are super obscure but the hints really help. We have done 3 out of the 4 rooms and they all have been a lot of fun. Recommend this place to anyone. Great times all around!

We have friends in Nanaimo, and we try to do an escape room every time we visit the island. Always a fun time here, and honestly, the best escape rooms I have been to have been from EXIT. Will always come back and do a room when we are visiting! Tons of fun and a great group activity. TEAM BERTA!

We love escape rooms (Victoria, Richmond, Vietnam, and Japan are where we have been to escape room so far) and were in Nanaimo for a night so we decided to try the Mannequin room at Exit. It was one of our favourite escape rooms now!!! The puzzles were good and connecting. There are more than just the traditional combination locks which added great experience. The props were very well done. Anneke and Winona were very friendly and great at giving us just enough hint to figure out the puzzles when we used the three hints, so that we still felt accomplishment :P. Their customer service and hospitality completed our great experience at Exit Nanaimo!! Thank you ladies!
