A really good airport with good food selection and clear route markings. Very user friendly which is always the most important thing. I only had a connecting flight so did not go through security and therefore can not comment on it. Their burger restaurant is great though!

Whenever I re -enter the country I am always reminded what it means to be a proud Canadian. I recently got back from Italy after the death of my father and I could not say how much I am appreciative of the help the agents at the passport control and customs gave me, and the empathy they showed when I disclosed I had my father's ashes with me and needed to hand over all the documentation. The agent was so kind, asked how I felt and allowed me to share my feelings and was truly touched. Same with the gentleman that verified my papers, who even gave me information for the future. I could not have been made to feel like my country loved me, after having spent months feeling like I was alone and surrounded by people who just did not care for each other. This is the most recent experience, but not the only one; every time I came back from my travels, the agents working there have always been kind and helpful and never shied away from answering questions and welcoming back.
