I used Medika International's services for both my trips to Mexico City about 2-3 years ago for excess skin removal services. Both experiences were top notch. From the very beginning I knew I was in good hands and any and all questions, concerns and fears I had were addressed so I never had any doubt that I was going to be very satisfied with my choice. I even spoke with former patients to get their experience which was a huge help in making the choice. From Montreal to Mexico City Medika International were with me every step of the way including but not limited to providing an excellent translator to help us navigate everything smoothly. My surgeon spoke English, but to make sure there was absolute clear understanding and communication between us having the translator with us gave both parties peace of mind. My surgeon was top of his game and I could not have been more pleased with my results. Everyone from my surgeon, to his personal staff to the staff at the hospital treated me like a VIP. And through it all the staff at Medika International back home checked in with myself, the surgeon and the translator. They were on top of it all. I cannot recommend them and their team both locally and abroad more highly and fully intend to use their services again in the future. Using them for my medical tourism needs was the best thing I ever did. When you do as well, you will be just as satisfied as all of their past patients.

Avoid doing business with them. If we decide to do medical tourism, it is basically because local services are much too expensive and we want to make precious savings. But this is absolutely not the case with them. Hidden fees (one of the managers demanded a deposit of $ 1000 not at the beginning but towards the very end, after agreement and explanation of procedures ... this is a fraudulent and dishonest tactic on their part which should normally be prosecuted), no post-surgical medical follow-up. Making money is quite the most normal and legitimate goal for any business, it is the absolutely unethical way that I would like to speak out. In short, you will not win with them… you will lose at all levels.
