We stumbled upon this activity accidentally. It seemed a cool thing to do, so we inscribed our family of 2 adults and 4 kids (15, 12, 10 and 8). The guided tour consists of 2 parts: 1 tour in the cave and 1 tour above ground visiting caves-in-the-making etc. The tour underground was educational and amazing, but physically challenging at points, especially for the kids. Steep declines and inclines can be demanding and scary. Our youngest was too scared to climb down on the way back, but the guide stayed with him and helped him through it safely, which we very much appreciated 👍🏻😊. The tour above ground was informal, relaxed, educational and a lot of fun. We got to visit different stages of caves-in-the-making, nature in and around caves and crevices and even a newly discovered cave! 😁 Both guides were knowledgeable, very kind and fun. I highly recommend this activity, but the tour in the cave is not for families with very young kids or people with reduced mobility of any kind. Also, wear old but warm clothing; you’ll come out looking like you did some mud wrestling 😂 When you go to the office to get information or inscribe yourself for the guided tours, stop at the cantine next door for lunch or dinner. I’ve never had a warmer welcome or better pizza in my life! 😋

Exciting place but do go in July or August, for there are some places are still dangerous to go in June, so we didn’t go there.

Very friendly, beware there is a part that is only allowed for 13 years old and over. There is also a walk in the woods to see other caves. Nice experience!
