Camping Parc St-Michel

Small quite campground in a nice area of QC. I lost my wallet and the owner lent me enough money to return to Ontario. I was alone. We are heading back soon.

Very arrogant owner, we were seasonal for 1 summer, he walks around the site with his golf coach and the more the day progresses, the more he gets drunk and he becomes very unpleasant. The 2nd season, we had health problems in the family, so we told him that we did not think we could stay for this reason because we could not come so regularly, we talked about "a couple of times a week " It offers us to accommodate ourselves by not loading the extra for the half-court adjoining ours, which we do not use anyway. We accept his offer, so we slept 5 nights from June 14 to 23, 2020. In the last week, it was 34 degrees and our air conditioning kept jumping on the breaker, we let him know and he said that 'he does not know why. We start with soft cream and when he came back he was tampering with the electrical box on our property and, as if by a miracle, the air conditioning started working! The next evening, it is still very hot so the air conditioning works, he arrives well packed with his golf coach to call us liars because counting the night we arrived on Sunday evening to sleep, around 7:30 p.m., it's been 3 nights! It was still very hot and I imagine he thought we were drinking too much juice with air conditioning, even if we paid extra in the contract. He was told that we did not come to camp on his ground to persist and that we were going to leave if he did not change his attitude, to which he replied: “I screech like it. '40! " He’s sure he was “crying” because he had cashed our check for the first half of the season and he never wanted to reimburse us when we left. It cost $ 750 for 5 dodos, this man is dishonest, mean, arrogant and above all, he hates people at his campsite, he only likes their cash.

I just phoned this '' nice '' owner since this campsite seemed interesting. BUT as mentioned in the other 2 comments, he is arrogant, independent, not very inviting voice .... So free land or not I will NEVER encourage this type of individual. This kind of human should NEVER do business with the public, in addition, probably too old to take training in Public Relations, hardly lost. he will end up emptying his campsite with this behavior !!!!

We have now been going to this place three times, very well located, the service is very good. The place is very peaceful and the sites are very well spaced, there is a beautiful descent to the river. I highly recommend it.
