Belarko Wildlife Viewing Platform

Probably THE most magical place we've ever visited... so many bears in a beautiful and natural setting on the Atnarko River. The rangers are friendly and informative. Please donate to this facility generously. There's no better place to see bears anywhere else in the area without it costing an arm and a leg.

Belarko Wildlife Viewing Platform is a good place to see grizzly bears in the wild, and it is free. It is about a 40 minute drive east from Hagensborg BC.

Nice spot, great mountain view

Excellent place to see grizzly bears feeding on salmon. Staffed by knowledgeable Park Rangers...a great Provincial Park initiative! And no charge - Thank you!
