This is the cutest campground with great service. Our camp hosts let us know about different paths and amenities. Full bathrooms and shower with great hot water. Path down to cove is easy 5 minutes walk. We've enjoyed our stay and worth getting off the beaten path for.

Booked in August,2020. Great location in a woods close to the village, a beach and a view point for whale watching. This campsite is a big place and has residential side which is more wooded area. Beach side is better maintained and sunny spots. I was placed in residential side and was dark, moss growing and by swamp. Worst site I got assigned.

This was a peaceful campground, preserving the natural feel of the area (i.e., neither overly manicured nor paved). The bathrooms are clean and the showers hot. The campground is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the marina at Telegraph Cove. WiFi at the campground was reasonably priced and good enough. Note: Be sure to login to only one network with each device, because each login is counted as a separate device (described below). We purchased WiFi for 2 devices. I logged on to two of the networks (trying to find the strongest signal at our site) before my partner logged on at all. My two logins used both "device" allowances in spite of being the same device. The proprietor was dubious of my explanation when I tried to get things sorted out. He checked his networks and found two logins but did not (or could not) see both were the same device (e.g., the same MAC address). He eventually gave us access for the second device. I wish he had described the limitations clearly at the start to save us all time and awkward interactions.

I had booked a campsite for one night which I had to cancel due to the sudden passing of a family member. This was the only place that did not give me a refund. Every other place I booked on the island gave me a refund, regardless of their cancellation policy, because they were sympathetic to my circumstance. Given that I had only booked the site 2 days prior to cancellation and it was in the off season I was hoping they would have been more understanding by offering a refund or even a credit.

Nice campground with sites next to a nice babbling creek. Bathrooms could use some repairs and updating, but they are kept nice and clean. Sites are large and fairly private with good trees. Be sure and bring good bug spray though, as there is a healthy population of no see ums.
