Harbour Air

My husband and I have been using Harbour Air for personal and business travel for years. The staff at the Nanaimo location are always so friendly and personable. It makes travel way less stressful because of the people that work there. The upgrades to the Vancouver harbour lounge a few years ago are wonderful. So comfortable and beautiful views!

Great experience! Take off and landing was fabulous. First time experience in a float plane.

Took it August 16 at 8am from Nanaimo to Vancouver. I was traveling with my daughter and her baby (my granddaughter). We had 2 large suitcases, 3 medium size carry on bags and the stroller. Once we arrived in Vancouver and our luggage’s were taken out of the plane and was put on the platform, no one offered to help us at all. They saw how much we had and that we had to take all uphill to where we have to take the cab. Such POOR customer service or lack of it. The two pilots and the handler just walk past us. Thank goodness for one guy that saw us struggling and offered to carry one suitcase. The checking area is so crowded, full of merchandise. The waiting area is dismal. I would never travel Harbour Air again. I’ll take the Ferry first. For anyone travelling from Nanaimo to Vancouver and visa versa. Take HELLI JET or the Ferry before Harbour air. You’ll see such difference with Hellijet. The service is wonderful and less costly.
