Westwood Lake Campgrounds

Great location, beautiful facility ( I've done cabins and tenting) wonderful owners, and so close to a very nice lake and beach. Good value for the money. Can't be beat.

On a road trip across Western Canada 🇨🇦, called to book a site. The woman on the phone was amazing. We were arriving after the office closed and just as promised, everything we needed was waiting for us when we got there. It was such an awesome campground that we decided to stay a second night. The young woman at the office was quick to look up availability and lucky for us our site was open and we stayed an extra day. And they deliver your wood right to your site! Top notch customer service. Clean facilities. Beautiful surroundings!!!

Fantastic campground , safe,clean,quiet and professional. Right next to the lake which is a huge bonus. Been staying here off and on for three years and highly recommend.

We had an early ferry booked on Aug 5 and decided to call around for campsites in naniamo so we could be closer. We called Westwood and they said they had a spot available for us. They told us it was a very quiet campground and we said that's good as we have an early ferry. So we drove there and when we arrived the owner appeared to be very drunk and told us they had no places left. I told them we talked to someone earlier and gave them our credit card to hold a deposit. The owner pointed at our friend who happens to be from east Indian.and said we aren't welcomed here. I asked him where we are going to sleep and he said he didn't care and we had to leave. I thanked him for his time in the most polite way I could at the time and we left. Don't waste your time going here. Hopefully the owner can get some professional help as he clearly has mental and addictive issues.

Delivered Would’ve selected 0 stars if I could. Cabins for long term rent are pathetic. EXTREMELY overpriced at $1000 a month even for students. Pathetic facilities, falsely advertised appliances in photos of unit, no privacy WHATSOEVER. I can literally hear every conversation from my neighbour, and since I moved in I’ve only heard bad things from all other long term renters. Do not rent the cabins here it is an absolute scam. Don’t let them convince you the location is worth $1000 we live on an island for gods sake there’s water everywhere living a minute from a small lake is NOT WORTH $1000. Plus they are so so so unorganized. Been waiting for two very important pieces of mail from the mailbox I PAY TO USE and for two and a half weeks they’ve been putting it in the wrong slot so I’m now late on two very important school documents. Also the daughter of the owners is particularly miserable and makes living here uncomfortable.
