Beautiful clean campground. Some sites in the trees and some with some nice wide open spots. Morning and afternoon sun. Great location with gorgeous views of the canyon. Flush toilets that were super clean and bundles of wood are available from the park host for $10. $23/night. Very quiet even with the trains below. Has a Sani station for $5 with drinking water as well.

It's a nice campground with some good campsites but most of them are pretty exposed so it's better for RV camping than tent camping. We did manage to find a site that was pretty private though. I would have given more stars except they limit how much wood you can buy to 2 a day & then we barely saw them coming around to sell more wood.

Stayed here for two nights. The park itself is stunning and very peaceful and beautiful. A wonderful campground. We had a good stay. We would give 5 stars except that the park host was very unwelcoming, unfriendly and sharp. I certainly would expect a little more basic friendliness and perhaps a little appreciation for our stay. Unfortunately the salty way in which we were treated will leave a negative impression on us about the park hosts.

My prototype of what a BC Parks campground should be. Sites spaced out, flush toilets, paved roads, warm dry weather, not too crowded, stunning views. Just east of Lytton. $23/night. Been coming here consistently for 25 years. LOVE it !

Gorgeous park, warm weather, great placement for an overnight rest. Park host was a bit curt, but she keeps the park amazingly clean and beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. There are flush toilets and cold water sinks with soap, but no way to dry your hands so bring a towel! Cold water rinse-off showers are provided, and water taps and refuse bins are well distributed throughout the area. Camp sites are spaced out well and nicely sized. Only insect pest we had a problem with were wasps; there are huge swarms of them and they can get aggressive. At night, the stars blanketed the sky in a wonderous display you will never see near a city. Across the highway from the campground is the picnic area and Thompson Canyon overlook... GORGEOUS. We will definitely return!
