Island View Camping

It is the more secluded campground of the choices in the area (forest v. field). However, there is no rhyme is reason to the sites (the original site I was booked for had no room for a picnic table, tent and a car. I would have had to park elsewhere or on the side of the narrow road. Nope!) The campsite I ended up with was INFESTED with ants. Thousands of them crawling on our feet, table, hammock, inside and outside the tent. It was atrocious. The bathrooms were not cleaned the 3 days we were there either. There was no soap for 3 days - luckily, I always pack my own as a precaution. The pools were nice. That was the only good part of this campground.

Great place to camp. Wish it was closer to Saint Andrews but we loved the pool so that made up for it.

Our camp site while we were in St.Andrews. Friendly staff and clean washrooms. It did seem that the seasonal knew we were from out of town, but they mostly seemed friendly towards out of towners. The one thing I hated was the paid shower. I understand that the bathrooms cost money to upkeep and it's a normal thing at camp sites. Overall though, next year if we head to the west of the province, we will certainly be looking at this place to stay again.

Owner is amazing. Very clean campground. Seasonals are very friendly and even helped me out with a problem I had with my trailer. Kids really enjoyed the pools, playground, and walking along the bay at low tide. We enjoyed it alot and already booked our next stay with them.

Very nice open oceanic campground. Great little beach by campsite.
