Stanford Inn & Suites Grande Prairie

I stumbled across the Stanford Inn & Suites by accident a couple years ago and am I ever glad I did. The front desk attendants are very personable and willing to help in the best way they can. The rooms are comfortable as well as the beds. They have your standard​ rooms plus kitchenettes and suites. I also found out they have a quiter section of the hotel were there are night shift rooms. I stayed in one of these rooms and slept in on the Sunday I was there as my room was still dark at 9am. They provide a free breakfast voucher for Monica's restaurant, served 5:30 - 10am. Monica's is in the same parking lot as the hotel. Attached to Monica's is the Sips Lounge if you fancy a drink and some good pub food. I also found meals I could eat with my dietary needs. The other big draw for me is that you can park anything from a mini car to a transport truck 100 feet long and 12.8 feet wide. I know because one of my traveling partner and I have both parked rigs that big, at the same time, with lots of room left for more transport trucks not to mention all the room for cars and pickups.

Great stay. Rooms appear fully renovated since my last visit. Everything clean and fresh. The free breakfast was a nice bonus.

Functional space for me. Liked the ground floor access. Guest laundry available also. I did however have to dry both my loads twice, even though it wasn't packed full in there, but my co worker said he didn't need to . I like the restraunt on the property also. Front desk staff in the afternoon and evening were super nice and helpful. TV's have side HDMI access, so it's really easy to plug in a laptop, etc. Ice is in a separate area, far from rooms, so nobody will be bothered by using it. It is mostly blue collar workers who stay here, and the rooms are very quiet. I dint hear a peep or of anyone, even on the weekend. I have no complaints, and will certainly return on my next visit.

Great staff, clean rooms and great service. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice clean rooms comfy beds ... could do with a little more light tho
