This is a great family campground. The sites are large and most are private with trees between most of them.

Loved this campground. So big and did not even see it all. Beautiful, clean and very friendly. Only open to Rvs at present due to covid but if it opens to tenters I would say try it. Lots are big and the pool is very nice and warm. Plus they have really good ice cream.

Beautiful grounds. Nice clean facilities. Crafts and play activities for the kids, awesome pool and numerous playgrounds. Even live entertainment for the adults at the bandstand sometimes. Great look out point over the River, many eagles to watch. Very accommodating and pleasant staff. Overall just a wonderful campground.

The tent site we got was secluded and shaded and lovely, but this campground overcharges for tent camping - $37.95 after tax for 2 adults in a tent is the highest price we paid around Nova Scotia without standard amenities. Showers aren't included in that price and there isn't a camp kitchen to wash dishes. Of course, I didn't find out that showering was 2 loonies extra until I was ready to shower at 9pm and the office closed at 7pm so I couldn't get change. When checking in, we were told to let them know if a picnic table wasn't at our site. We confirmed that a picnic table was missing, and they said they'd get us one. We returned two hours later ready to cook to find we still had no table. We had to locate and move one from an empty campsite. In addition, the fire pit had a bunch of trash in it. If they charged $10 less, I wouldn't complain, but the price doesn't match the tent camping amenities provided. I think this is a very nice place for those with a RV or caravan.
