Was pleasantly surprised with this temple. Large area and amazing statues.
You are driving down what seems to be a desolate gravel road by a river when all of a sudden an old Asian structure with huge stone deities appears in the forest. Must see. Free veggie lunch served on a donation basis.
It was under construction, but still welcoming. Best of all we had a quarter tank of gas, so we decided to ask one of the monks if they could help us. They filled my tank is only asked for $30. Great people!!
Very Silent place.. Had a really good time.. Very scenic.. a must visit place. Bring your food and spend a day here..
Amazing place with unbelievable beauty of landscapes and Buddhist traditions. Very peaceful and quiet place, great for a thoughtful walk, tranquility or taking pictures. We came late and didn't find anyone there, but still gates were open and place was welcoming, so we took a walk, found our zen and left. 😋
