i can never get a hold of someone, the line is ALWAYS busy? i have nothing against the staff and i have an amazing family doctor. but if only it was easy to get a hold of someone

The doctors are great. I have been going there for 25+ years and I have never had a problem. Wait times are much better than my friends have told me that they have had to wait.

My one star rating is for the receptionist, not the doctors, of whom I've heard only good things. We recently moved to Hudson (June 2020) and the January prior to moving, we phoned the Hudson Medicentre to enquire about the possibility of getting a GP there. We were told to simply get back in touch once we had moved and could provide proof of residency, and that we would be allocated a doctor there. Fast forward to June, we called again, and were told in a very abrupt, verging on rude manner, that we had to register with RAMQ for a doctor, and had no guarantees of getting one in Hudson. When we asked when and why the procedure changed, we were told in a abrupt and nasty manner that it's always been that way. Not true, as we personally know people who simply had to provide proof of residency in Hudson and were given a GP there right away. Perhaps the system has changed but to be told it has always been that way is not true. Her attitude is terrible which is a pity as it no doubt brings down the rating for what is otherwise an excellent Medicentre with caring and competent doctors. Hopefully they will take note of the many negative reviews for their reception staff and take steps to rectify this problem.

I don't understand why the receptionist are still working there. It seems like they try to make your experience as worst as possible.
