Very (too) discreet along the road. Superb historic site with the remains of the wreck of the last French boat to come to lend a hand to the French inhabitant of Quebec. As always, the staging and explanation are very educational! ❤

The oldest house in Gaspésie. *** The house was destroyed by arson on June 2, 2020. All that remains is the foundations, a pile of ash and a plastic canvas teepee. *** Historical site witness to 220 years of history. The oldest house in Gaspésie built in 1800 by Thomas Busteed. It was classified as a heritage building in the Cultural Heritage Register and purchased by the federal government in 2012.
