Dr. Richard Mandal Orthotics & Foot Clinic

Waited 2 and a half weeks for an appointment and was thoroughly disappointed after the 5 minutes dr Mandal spent with me. I came in with years worth of reoccurring ingrown toenails, but never gone to a specialist. I've been watching the ToeBro on youtube for years and knew exactly what to expect from a professional, but got none of that. There was no examination, simply a "yeah, that looks painful" and a spiel about how it'd be $535 per toe for surgery if it was needed later, but how he's really good at it. Or he could cut my toenails every 8 weeks. Or I could maintain them myself after he does it this time and he'd show me how to file them to avoid reoccurrence. Clipped down both sides of both nails (only one side was even ingrown, so that was unnecessary) but didn't even cut down far enough to where the ingrowns were occurring. Didn't give me any more info about filing like he said he would, even after I asked. A week later and nothing has gotten better, and I found a nail spike he left on one toe from his clipping. Cost me $75 for a joke of an appointment and no help at all. Will not be going back and dr Mandal needs to do better by his patients.

I made an appointment on what ended up to be a -40 day with a blizzard the night before. The result was, I ended up 7 minutes late for my appointment. It was canceled. Since I retired shortly after, my orthotics were not covered by my benefits. It was like he was operating an assembly line, not a medical service. What more can I say?

My wife went to the foot clinic and saw Dr. Leavitt for a foot problem. She said The appointment was on time and he was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed her problem with almost immediate results. She highly recommends him and the clinic . The staff were all nice. All in all a great experience!

I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This place is great! The wait was only about two weeks to get in, the dr took his time to talk to me and go over all my options. I ended up not feeling well after my foot injection but the staff took really good care of me until I was well enough to leave.

Dr. Mandal was not very helpful. He couldn't suggest anything other than paying him for expensive orthodics or surgery. He told me to ignore the problem for a few years until it was worse. The internet, including sites like WebMD, has been much more informative.
