Shoppers Drug Mart

Decent enough. I do my best to not ask for assistance from any of the staff as they tend to either not have much people skills or are just rude while just asking a simple question, but for items I can grab and use the self checkout this is the drugstore I use (it’s the only shoppers in town so I have no other choice)

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! 1. I called to order an item from the Wellwise division of this company at an on-line sale price, although the item was currently shown as out of stock. 2. They got back to me after a couple of days, by which time the item was shown at a new, higher price. I was told when I called back that I should order the item at the new, higher price and then call back again to get a refund to the on-line sale price that had been advertised when I first called. I ordered the item on this basis because they had told me that the item would be out of stock for a couple of weeks, so I understood from this I would have few days to cancel the order if I called back and they then declined to give the refund. 3. They shipped me the item right away (so they had NOT been out of stock after all as they had claimed), and they have ignored my requests for a refund or for a Return Merchandise Authorization to return the item. The item was NOT among the items that are excluded from returns according to their web site, AND THE ITEM WAS SHIPPED TO ME WITH THE ORIGINAL SEALED PACKAGING BROKEN IN ANY CASE. WARNING! Do not trust anything from this company. Deal instead with a reputable company that honours its on-line pricing and provides free returns of items ordered on-line.

A short while ago I purchased an Income Tax Calculation package. It is the same format that I have been buying for years. I discovered, once I opened it, that it was not the correct format for a very recently purchased computer. I tried to return the product on the weekend, but was told that since it had been opened, I could not return it. I asked to speak to the manager whose name, I was told, is Markus. I explained the situation to Markus on Tuesday morning. He, without hesitation, returned the money that I had spent on the product. It was an honest mistake and Markus obviously understood that. I told him that I am a good customer. I will continue to be one, thanks to Markus. I was impressed.

March 22 2020, been going to shoppers for years been good service till today, the old lady cashier needs to be sat down and be giving a chit chat about customer service and how to deal with customers. Tells me to stand back 6 feet from the other customer, but mean while the cashier is 6 inches from the customer she is serving, it's the way your employee talked to myself and other customers. Can't wait for IDA to open will np longer shop at shoppers . And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I have been a customer at this store's pharmacy for about five years and filled prescriptions frequently. There have been several occasions in the last year when I have used their automated telephone service to call in for a refill. I have been given a date when the prescription will be ready and yet when I go to pick it up, it's not ready because they didn't have enough in stock. I can understand that this can happen but I have asked them on three occasions in the last two months if they could phone me if they can't fill my prescription so that I don't make a trip up there unnecessarily. Each time they have assured me that they would. They never have. On one occasion when I was getting a prescription refilled for my cat I ended up going back to the store three times before I could get the complete prescription. Today I went to pick up a prescription for my cat, once again they couldn't fill it and once again I never got a call to let me know. I like the staff however I am tired of driving to that store only to be told that the prescription has not been filled. They told me today that they had ordered the medication and it may be in tomorrow and that they would call me. I'm afraid I have lost confidence in that promise and I am tired of making multiple trips for prescriptions that are not ready. Going to try elsewhere.
