Large public park with beautiful, established trees and foliage. A mix of walking trails and open grassy areas as well as a tranquil sunken garden. Excellent views of the ocean and Mt. Baker. A very popular place for dog owners with lots of room to run around. Parallel parking along the side of the road.

Fantastic little park, mostly for small dogs on and off leash. Very clean, well maintained and was amazed with the Zen garden and fish pond. Both found further into the park, also features restrooms, picnic area with picnic tables for convenience. Check with municipality for Covid-19 restrictions. There is a small trail system, limited parking and can find an ongoing restoration of rhododendrons along the creek bank. Beautiful stone bridges and plenty of lush greenery dart the pathways, boasting a fantastic view of mount Baker in the distance and benches for rest. I liked and enjoyed the low amount of people traffic, more peaceful than the hustle and bustle of larger green spaces.

Best place to walk your dog. Love all the different trees.

Such a beautiful spot.

Only once a year accompanied my grandchildren to participate in the Easter egg hunt. Finding excited kids having fun. Somewhere in the middle of the slope is a hidden rest room. Because of hill incline the landscape gives a panoramic view across to the ocean & islands on a clear sunny day. Highway #17 below as traffic speeds by. I think this location is also great for family pinics. People sometimes bring their dogs to free run to release steam.
