Whispering Spruce Campground

My daughter and I camped at the park last night and loved it. Even in the rain. The managers ....owners maybe.....were an awesome couple. Even boosted our car in the morning. Bathroom are very clean and taken care of. The campground in general is well cared for. We had the pleasure of picking our tenting spot and got to enjoy the new "hotspot" site away from other campers. We would definatly return again!!!

Terry and rose are the best people ever ! There so nice!, this campground is the greatest thing since slice bread, there so thoughtful and caring , I would bring my family here any day of the week. They always go the extra mile. If your looking for a one night stop or too spend a week I would not hesitate. They make it feel like home! Everything including washrooms and play ground is Immaculate, this is a five star resort all day long people ! Don’t miss out on it!

Awesome place. Huge rv sites and tenting sites. Bathrooms and showers were absolutely spotless. The people managing the site were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They kept the sites spotless. But I cannot believe how many rude and disrespectful campers that they have to deal with daily. People need to grow up!

Very friendly and courteous and staff. Very clean and well-maintained camp ground. ( Washrooms were spotless ) ! There is a well-laid out Recycle point on site for bottles / cans etc. They ask that you merely rinse the containers and remove all caps before depositing in the labeled bins. If you are traveling from the West, remember that Golden is on MOUNTAIN Time ( one hour ahead of Pacific Time ). If you forget, you will miss the Check Out Time of 11:00 AM. ( Silly me !! ). Thanks for a great stay, folks ! I will surely stay at your campground again !!

Traveling west my truck broke down. I had my truck towed to a local repair shop and my fifth wheel hauled to Whispering Spruce campground. The towing company hauled my trailer with a Peterbilt. The campground has nice large pull through sites, ideal for big rigs. Not know how long I would need to stay was no problem. The hosts Terry and Rosie are super people and know the situation, did everything they could to help. Just a great campground run by great people. Thank you.
