Mackenzie Municipal Campground

The price is so not worth what little you get. First off the campsites are no bigger then your travel trailer itself.. Like no room extra, barely enough for the vehicle you used to tow it there. They are not mowed often and mostly grass that gets very high. The website states Free WiFi.. (LIES, sure maybe if you sitting at the office you will get it... but definitely not usable at the RV sites. The website also states that they have public washrooms and showers, Also LIES. I was told two months ago that they are under renovations. So, naturally we had figured that by now they would be fixed. Well apparently they have been "under renovations" for a few years now. So.. they seriously need to update their website and remove the out right lies. The People in the office are not that friendly either. It really is sad that they do not know the meaning of Customer Service. If you think "Ah, it's MacKenzie.. how many people could there be at the campground.." think again.. It is packed due to workers in the area. So there is absolutely zero privacy. No Shade at all!

Love this place...clean well kept free fire wood a little noisey in the early morning but so nice here

Well managed clean and great scenery

Great place to stay. Affordable, clean and large sites. Highly recommended

Functional. Well located. Stated 2 nights in the unserviced camp section that has about 10 camo sites. Shower and washroom available. Excellent drinking water at the comfort station. Price was free for 2 nights because we were tourists. You could hear some traffic noise. Located beside highway access to the town, beside the Municipal offices. Sites are close together and open. Was a great place to operate out of, but if you want privacy, this may not be your site.
