Just completed my float rating training at Sudbury Aviation and it was just awesome! Drew , Justin, and Blair are great instructors, and Ian and Michelle are excellent hosts. Beautiful location as well, great remote lakes and scenery all around the area - a fantastic way for any pilot to supplement their skills - and such a fun way to fly! Highly recommended.
It’s my first time to go fly-in fishing with my boyfriend ( it’s his 5th ), and i can say that we had a very great experience and adventure at Alton Lake and Ian made sure of that. Drew, the pilot, was also very helpful and courteous and flew us back and forth very smoothly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this place for adventures and at the same time a way of taking a break from the busyness of life. A time to enjoy the calmness and the beauty of nature. Oh, did i say it’s also a great place to fish? You bet, it is.

The training was amazing, Drew is a great instructor. The owner is really nice and the planes are safe and well maintained.
Drive down for lesson and they cancel at last minute. His excuse was to windy.. telling me to windy as he loads up fly in fishing trip. I see it as over booking. Waste of my day
