We booked a night tour via Airbnb, and it was very interesting. The family, which are the owners for the farm, are very friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to know everything about the wildlife. We've seen pretty much which we would have never spotted alone. The best thing is, they offer free transportation and focus on small groups (max 8 PAX).

As a nature preserve: 5 stars. Really friendly staff, no English dough. Trails are well marked and no pave or stones are used. Unfortunately we were not lucky to see much animals, but we saw some, thus 4 stars. Entrance fee is 5 us$. A guided nighthike costs us$30. We saw zero other people on this hidden gem.

Super guides at this newly preserved area, a mix of primary and secondary forest. Saw a boa (rare sighting at this elevation!) on our night walk. Highly recommended. 6 star experience. Book via Arco Iris in Sta. Elena.
