Hello, I evaluate the experience with online shopping in the IKEA department store and the IKEA Liberec service as follows. First of all, it would be appropriate to communicate accurate information to customers.
I made the online purchase on Sunday 24.1. I had to pick up the goods in person on Wednesday 27.1. in the Liberec distribution warehouse, between 4 pm and 8 pm.
On Wednesday morning, I called the IKEA customer line, did the agreed date really apply? The answer was YES and I don't have to wait for any more calls (via SMS from the dispensing warehouse). Unfortunately, on the reviews of the dispensing point, I read information about the need to wait for a confirmation SMS with a PIN code.
So I tried to call the Liberec distribution warehouse. Unfortunately, you can't find a phone contact anywhere on the internet !!!
Subsequently, I made an e-mail inquiry directly to HRAL s.r.o., requesting a telephone contact to the distribution warehouse. I received an answer from the company with a telephone number.
After a telephone inquiry to the dispensing warehouse, whether the goods are really ready, as claimed by the IKEA customer line, and I can come within the agreed deadline without further notice, I was told to wait for a confirmation SMS !!!
If you order a van financed from your own resources for a properly agreed date (selected when buying online) and no one can tell you three hours before the date whether the pick-up time really applies (IKEA says YES, the dispensing warehouse is NO), then this is not a suitable way Communication with a customer. This is of particular concern to the customer if the distance to the dispensing warehouse is 60 km from his place of residence.
To be objective, in the end I agreed by phone with the dispensing warehouse on the method of solution. A confirmation SMS about the date of collection then I received approx. 2 hours before the agreed date.
Unfortunately, the average shopper will probably not want to call different phone numbers, write to emails and see if the deadline is valid.
I therefore suggest that you specify the information on how the actual communication between the dispensing warehouse and the customer actually takes place and that the customer must actually wait for a confirmation SMS with a confirmation PIN code. It should also be specified that without a confirmation message, it does not make sense to travel to the dispensing warehouse.
It would also be appropriate to publish a telephone contact to the dispensing warehouses so that the customer (in case of uncertainty) can verify the information on the storage of the ordered goods in good time.
Perhaps my experience will be of benefit to you in improving communication between the seller, the distribution warehouse and the end customer.

It was enough to say the pin and they already handed me the goods. Great for me. Even the staff smiling. That's the way it's supposed to be. I will definitely use it again
I do not recommend. I have not encountered such arrogance, reluctance, laziness. Both staff and management. They lie, excuses, blame their inability for everything. Shipment stocked from Ikea on time. A pick-up time was scheduled, 12-14 hours. I waited more than 4 hours for the release. Paid parking !!!! 😤😤😤
Pleasant service, they take everything to the car, help with the loading. Great approach
Well, if you don't listen to the description from Ikey and somehow you know that you should receive an SMS first, then you have to go there at the given time unnecessarily. Which, in the case of constant snowfall, is very good.
