High stars for the attitude and the helpfulness of the officer, i've been moving to several cities, the queuing waiting time is indeed a bit long, but all is worth it.

Terrible service
Awful service despite 40% of my income going to taxes. Be prepared for long lines and rude bureaucrats. Bring cash, international cards fail.
Absolutely awful service. For my initial registration for residence, they discarded my officially translated birth and marriage certificates, requiring me to get an Apostille—despite my being a EU citizen and despite this not being an official requirement. Although both Beamte spoke fluent English (they began like that), they refused to speak English with me when I asked for clarification of something I didn't understand in German. I had an appointment book in advance, but they called me in 30 minutes later than others who just showed up and pressed the wait button. Now that I have my official documents ready I wanted to book an appointment online, they wouldn't respond to any of my four emails. If you can avoid these people, do so by all means!
