A long time ago I bought construction film there by the meter. The employee rolled it off on the floor, took measurements on one side and drew his cutter across the track with a bold swing. Result: The film was shorter on the other side. Apart from the fact that I would like to have the amount that I paid for ... the film had to have the correct dimensions for my purposes and the cut had to be as straight as possible. When I politely asked if he wasn't a latte or something like that. could take (as is common in other shops if no cutting device is available) came the harsh answer “No, I don't have to, I don't do it. Find a bar yourself ... ". The store manager Mr. Peters crowned the whole thing by saying that his employee had behaved correctly. I didn't feel like getting involved in further discussions, so I canceled the purchase and drove to Belzig to the local I&M (mother market). Everything worked out as expected. Apart from this experience, the market in Brück is not to be recommended either. Manageable assortment, small quantities for many common items, re-orders are not made in time. Came there often and only found 1 or 2 pieces of the item I was looking for, or the shelf compartment was completely empty, sometimes for weeks! Pure luck to get exactly what you need. What I have never experienced at any other hardware store is that if you pay a deposit for a euro pallet, you don't get the entire deposit back when you return it, a part is deducted. Even if I return the same pallet one day later in the original condition as received. That is not how it works. The store only works because there is no competition in the vicinity. @edit: on my last, unfortunately unavoidable, purchase, the cash register printed a receipt for me that was almost illegible. Since it was goods from the external warehouse, I took the receipt outside to the employee there so that he could hand over the goods to me. The first thing he did was piss me off in a way that I don't want to reproduce here. Are you crazy? Of course, even he could not see on the receipt what kind of goods it was. But why doesn't he just ask me, he just pisses me off? Then he should complain to his incompetent boss instead of approaching customers in this way. This person is intolerable.

Every time I take a long journey, because I know it's worth going there. The local staff are always friendly and are there to help and advise you with their expertise.
