My son, who was just ten, was lost in the city center today. He has no local knowledge and it is already dawn. I was assured of very friendly and professional help on the phone. The official took his time and calmed me down very competently.

Four weeks ago very nice police officers helped me - after a one-day stay in Erfurt - to find my car parked in a side street again, after I had searched for hours in vain the environment and then assumed a theft offense. Many thanks again - also to the helpful ladies in the switchboard!

The gentleman was obviously stressed because he answered my questions conditionally and annoyed on the phone. It's a shame. The lady who wasn't supposed to put a package in the background was more interesting. I only had one question, but was strangled with the statement: he must also work! We all have to 😉, but friendliness should be given. The saying "Police your friend and HELPER" is not entirely true here. Maybe the gentleman shouldn't have answered the phone if he didn't master 2 things at the same time (friendliness and competence)!
