The 2 lock chambers are almost 100 years old and therefore have to be maintained with considerable resources. A few information boards about the data of the entire barrage would be very interesting for the public and would explain the purpose of the system.

We are the first time drove .. Direction Passau was great because you can dock at a jetty but when retour you have to anchor or pass the time until the lock rises. Have waited 1.5 hours until a large boat came. Also was no information to find or telephone number .. thank God there is Internet
