Popular trap for students and anyone else who doesn't care about insurance and finance on their own. Beware of these finance, investment and insurance brokers. When concluding insurance contracts and making investment recommendations, the main focus is often on one's own commission and not with the customer. In the case of an unfavorable contract situation, the costs of contract, sales commission and running costs are often in the five-digit range! These costs first have to be generated again by the products before one comes into the profit zone. Recalculation is therefore strongly recommended. My advice: Better get an independent consultant (keyword fee) and pay for this advice. Alternative contact points such as consumer advice centers or the BdV are preferable to MLP.
