I was there for the first time today as part of the culinary scavenger hunt. We were given a tiny piece of sausage to try in front of the shop. This was admittedly very tasty. We then went to the store. There was apparently very high-quality meat, but at a price that was just as high-quality. When we were outside, some people had a mini bread with a bratwurst in hand. We also had one given to us and found out after we had it in hand that we had to pay 4 euros for each. Well, you can't give them back then. Since we were not informed about it beforehand and the question whether the sausage was not included was answered with a condescending smile only 1 star. The store won't see me again as a customer. Trust playful. On the comment of the owner: to assume we would hide any 3 tasting stations in the shop is simply not correct. We were not offered any sauces, liqueurs, etc. Instead, we were taken through the products in the refrigerators. Neither of us expected an all you can eat buffet. With ONE sausage in a mini roll, you can't talk about all you can eat. The really annoying thing was that before you had the sausage in your hand you were not told that the sausage costs 4 euros. Suggestion for improvement: I understand when high-quality products have their price, but a small paper plate with 3 pieces of sausage, a little sauce and a small piece of bread would have been a good alternative in my opinion and would certainly not have cost much more.

Super tasty meat from animals kept in a species-appropriate manner. Great assortment. Here you will not only find meat but also the right side dish and wines. Super nice staff!

Certainly a nice shop in itself, but as a participant in the culinary scavenger hunt you feel completely lost because you got a mini mini mini piece of sausage and nowhere was it stated that the entire bratwurst had to be paid for. It's a shame, otherwise I would have liked to have bought something there. Edit: The sampling stations mentioned in your answer were neither mentioned by you nor by the other employee or were evident. If you had mentioned this when I thought I visited the shop as part of the culinary scavenger hunt, my opinion would certainly be different.

The friendly butcher from next door! We tried the sausages and are thrilled. It is important to us to know where the meat comes from.

Very high quality and great service. A lot of passion has been put into the store. Something like that was missing in Flingern before!
