Reading the majority of the posted reviews, I approached the place with great anxiety and worried if I'll be able to drive out from Flensburg the same day. The reality proved to be quite the contrary to the experience of others! I sweeped through the process, everybody was very helpful, the girls even communicated with me in English partially (seeing how futile my Deutsch was). I got my Zullassungsbescheinigung and Ausfuhrkennzeichen within 2 hours of arrival and that included going away and bringing the car back as I couldn't drive it without insurance first. Far cry from Frankfurt, for example, where I submitted my papers at 10 am and collected them at 5:30 pm.

How should you get an appointment when the line is busy even after 76 calls .. apparently the receiver is simply put aside. The biggest joke is that you can't make an appointment either by email or on site but are referred to the hotline.

On the 23.12. made an appointment via hotline. So this is currently the only (!) Possibility as a private person to have a car. I had to call the hotline about 30 times until I had someone on the phone. Until then - the line was busy, - Nobody answered the phone and after about 30 seconds you get kicked off the line or - there was the response "no connection under this number". The editor herself was really very, very friendly and competent, but there is a bonus star, so that I land with 3 stars.

The processing was relatively quick within 2 days. What is so badly organized, however, is that you have to pick it up, which takes a maximum of 5 minutes, a time between 9 and 12 and then has to stand outside in the rain for almost an hour. Due to the current situation, I understand that only a certain number of people are allowed into the building, but there is a possibility and if it is only a tent, being able to shelter in the rain should be feasible!

Since I was unsure about the current processes in Corona times, I contacted them by email and asked how I can currently deregister an old motorcycle and register a new motorcycle and continue to use the license plate - the next day I had the answer. When I finally bought the motorcycle in Lübeck, I asked again by email and after mutual agreement I immediately got an appointment for the last Thursday. Unfortunately, due to the postal strike on Thursday, the letter wasn't there, so I actually went to the appointment for free. But no problem; After a short request, I got an alternative date for the next day on which deregistration, registration and rededication of the license plate was done in one go within half an hour - perfect! - Then the new bike was picked up from Lübeck and then the whole thing in the best autumn weather Weekend moves- Thank you for this problem-free process!
