Community Bank - ATM

Friendly staff and professional service! Staff is always prepared to assist in US and German banking queries. There are a total of 4 ATMs within the KMCC (food court, outside of main bank, and 2 next to the Barbarossa). Get your Euros and dollars from there. Awesome and convenient!

Is this a good bank? Not particularly. However, it does have its merits. They are terrible as a primary account, especially overseas(foreign transaction fees are assessed on every dime you spend). This is true. But, I actually miss having them as a bank. Specifically I used them as a satellite to bounce money from one bank to the other. Their turn around time on transfers is unbelievable! Try two days or less. Back in the states, where I cannot use Community Bank (for overseas service members only) my transaction times leave me pulling my hair out. I actually miss having an account with them.

I have been a Community Bank Member for over 5 years during my time in Germany. I have had no issues and have always had great experiences at both Ramstein and Volgelweh. Customer Service has been perfect. Additionally, I got an incredible interest rate on my auto loan that beat out every other bank I looked at.

I bank with USAA and Navy Federal for all my regular bank and insurance needs. Community Bank handles all of my Germany bills and rent, never had an issue with their service. If something came up they were always very helpful with getting it resolved. No hidden fees if you know how to read...
