Ramstein AB Commissary

Never seems to be enough checkers to allow a reasonable check out time. Plan for a much longer trip than imagined if going after 16:00.

The store is well stocked even in crisis mode. It is expensive to shop here, so I only come for those specific items that are not available on the economy.

- Very unfriendly, incompetent female cashier. I have complained about her twice. Each time the store manager Kegler tells me he will ensure she receives more training. I will avoid her checkout stand from now on and recommend you do the same. - Can‘t even call Customer Service to inquire about the availability of an item. Calls go directly to voice mail and “the mailbox is full”. - I know smaller Commissaries than Ramstein that are more Customer-friendly. I plan to report my observations/complaints to DECA Headquarters.

A good majority of all your American grocery products that you might not find on the economy off base. Produce is freshness is a little underwhelming, everything else is about as expected. Shop there or not, but it's available if you need it.

Very rude employees. A lot of items always about to expire.
